Sokol Blosser was among Oregon's founding wineries, planting in the Dundee Hills in 1971, and the Evolution range is its playful sideline to estate Pinot Noir. Big Time Red blends Syrah, Sangiovese and Montepulciano with a small addition of the Evolution white blend, a nod to Rhône co-fermentation practice, lifting the aromatics. Expect plum, black cherry and cracked pepper with soft tannins and fresh, juicy acidity.
