Tasting note

Marlborough Sauvignon has exploded in popularity and it's easy to see why - it has just the right climate to help vines thrive without giving them too many nutrients - those that struggle to produce beautifully well-balanced grapes with a deep flavour profile. This is a vibrant wine with flavours of gooseberry and passionfruit underscored by an appetising, crisp acidity which produces a refreshing finish. It will partner with white fish and salads to perfection.

Forrest Wines

Just outside of Renwick, in Marlborough, the Forrest family has been crafting wines since the 1980’s. Returning to family roots of farming in the region seemed a natural progression for John and Brigid Forrest, after successful careers in scientific research and medicine. They don’t believe in using ‘sustainability’ as a buzzword to make them look better. From the vineyards to the processing plant, to the bottles themselves, every aspect has been considered with sustainability and minimal environmental impact in mind.
