The MUGA Series is a seasonal release from Tatenokawa showcasing their freshest, brightest unpasteurised sake. Bottled early in the brewing year unfiltered, undiluted & unpasteurised using a special method limiting exposure to oxygen. MUGA Gold, made using local Yamada Nishiki rice, brings depth and integrated umami to this zesty sake.
The palate is tight & crystalline due to its bright acidity with expressive aromas of red apple, muscat and grapefruit and vividflavours of juicy red apple, Japanese pear & white peach. Light touches of umami throughout. Juicy, fresh & crisp.
Try with succulent slices of ham or pulled pork, creamy chesses like burrata, and full flavours like smoked fish or Indian curry.
