Description

This wine presents floral aromas alongside bold flavours of forest fruits. The palate is well-rounded, leading to an elegant, fresh finish.

The Saperavi grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards in Kakheti, where the stony soils contribute to the grapes' concentrated flavours. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's fresh fruit character. A portion of the wine is aged briefly in French oak barrels to introduce subtle complexity and structure.

This Saperavi pairs well with barbecued pork, veal, or fried vegetables.

For optimal enjoyment, serve this wine at 16–18°C.

Kakheti

Kakheti, located in eastern Georgia, is the country's most renowned wine region, celebrated for its ancient winemaking traditions and diverse, high-quality wines. It benefits from a continental climate with hot summers and mild winters, and its fertile soils are ideal for viticulture. Kakheti is particularly famous for its traditional Qvevri wines, produced in clay vessels buried underground, which impart unique flavors and complexity. The region's standout grape varieties include Saperavi, known for its deep, robust reds, and Rkatsiteli, which produces aromatic, crisp whites. With its combination of ancient techniques and modern innovations, Kakheti offers a captivating wine experience, showcasing the rich heritage and distinctive wines of Georgia.
