Tasting note

A bright and lively straw yellow wine, this 100% Vermentino captivates the nose with its fruity aromas of pear, banana and apricot. The palate reveals floral notes of lavender and white flowers and spicy notes of sage. The wine is fresh and pleasant, with a well-balanced acidity and a long and savoury finish that showcases its aromatic and mineral character.

This wine is a great match for grilled light meats and fish and dishes featuring green and herbal flavours.

Tenuta Argentiera is located in a small portion of Maremma where countryside, sea, woods and Mediterranean scrub meet. Situated at altitudes reaching 200m above sea level and close to the Tyrrhenian coast, in Bolgheri DOC, a region known for its quality red wines. The name Argentiera refers to the silver mines that were once discovered in this area, rich in natural springs and beneficial waters. The particularity of this place creates a unique microclimate, making Argentiera one of a kind.

It also produces prestigious wines such as Brunello di Montalcino, a full-bodied red with complex flavours and excellent ageing potential, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. For whites, Vernaccia di San Gimignano is noted for its crisp, refreshing character. Tuscany blends traditional winemaking with innovative techniques, offering a rich and varied wine experience.
