Description

The Estate Pinot Noir is aged in 8% New French oak, 92% neutral French oak for 11 months.

Rich and complex on the nose, with clove, hibiscus, rose and black cherry alongside black plum, peppercorn and cigarbox. Evolves beautifully in the glass, adding red grapefruit, black tea and violet. The palate is earthy and raspberry-tinged, with bright acidity and a savoury, almost salty edge. Builds steadily to a peak of fresh black fruit, framed by fine, dusty tannins and a long, persistent finish.
