The NV Brut Rose is largely derived from Bouzy, supplemented by some 10% Ambonnay fruit. Its denomination BA1660 refers to the communes from which is is produced, its base vintage (2016) and the wine's dosage of 6 g/litre (60). Offering up aromas of strawberries, fresh pear, mint, honeycomb and pastry, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a nicely concentrated core of fruit, racy acids and good length on the finish. While it is sufficiently fruit-driven to be more than approachable today, there's enough underlying structure here to suggest good aging potential, too. Drink 2019 - 2033.
