Winzerhof Landauer Gisperg

Winzerhof Landauer Gisperg is located in the heart of Austria, in Tattendorf / Thermenregion / Lower Austria, 25 km south Vienna. Their wines have been certified organic & vegan for over 17 years!

With 30 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of elderberry and 1 hectare of black currant, the teamwork of two generations, bring a lot of commitment and passion to their work, focussing on bringing the highest possible quality to bottle maturity.

Their climate shapes the wine style as well as their barren gravelly soils. Low yields bring fully ripened grapes. This line of quality continues into the barrel and then into the bottle. Their finesse, expressive and easy-to-drink red wines as well as their fruity, fresh white wines are proof of this.

Niederosterreich

Niederösterreich, or Lower Austria, is the largest wine-producing region in Austria and one of the most significant in terms of quality and diversity. The region's wine history dates back to Roman times, and it remains a cornerstone of Austrian viticulture. Niederösterreich is known for its varied terroirs, influenced by the Danube River and the surrounding Alps, which create ideal conditions for viticulture.

It is particularly renowned for its white wines, with Grüner Veltliner being the flagship grape. This variety thrives in Niederösterreich, producing wines that range from crisp and peppery to rich and complex. Other notable white varieties include Riesling, which flourishes in the steep vineyards along the Danube, and Sauvignon Blanc. While white wines dominate, Niederösterreich also produces elegant reds, with Zweigelt and Pinot Noir being the most prominent. The region’s diverse microclimates and soil types contribute to its reputation for producing some of Austria’s finest wines.
