Bordeaux rewards patience, but not everyone has a cellar or the time to wait. We've done the waiting for you.

These six come from the 2015 to 2019 vintages and have reached the point where the tannins have softened and the savoury, secondary flavours are starting to show. On the Left Bank there's Château Meyney from Saint-Estèphe, La Réserve de Léoville Barton, the second wine of the celebrated Saint-Julien estate, and Château de Cardaillan from Graves. From the Right Bank comes Haut Roc Blanquant, a rare third wine from Bélair-Monange in Saint-Émilion, and F. Thienpont's La Violette du Manoir from Castillon, alongside the Despagne family's oak-aged Tour de Mirambeau Cuvée Passion.

Drink now, or keep a few more years.
