These six come from the 2015 to 2019 vintages and have reached the point where the tannins have softened and the savoury, secondary flavours are starting to show. The Right Bank leads the way, with two wines Chateau Chauvin Saint-Emilion Grand Cru (Grand Cru Classe) 2018, and Haut Roc Blanquant, the Chateau's rare third wine. Alongside them are F. Thienpont's La Violette du Manoir from Castillon and Domaine de Cambes, from the Mitjavile family of Tertre Rôtebœuf. Château de Cardaillan brings a Left Bank perspective from Graves, and the Despagne family's oak-aged Tour de Mirambeau Cuvée Passion completes the case.
